Training, Philosophy, and Creative Ventures
Niraj Nair holds a deep appreciation for plays—both new and old—that are acutely aware of their audience. He states that he believes “drama makes it possible for normal people to engage with philosophy.”
His training reflects this balance between the traditional and the contemporary:

- He completed a semester of Shakespeare training at RADA.
Beyond the stage, Nair has also been involved in innovative projects:
- He was featured in Emily Ann Banks’s new adaptation, Three Cis-ters, presented as part of LimeFest at The Tank.
- He was a featured artist at the NYU Creative Career Hub’s 2nd International Student Arts Incubator Showcase at Racket NYC.
- He was part of Singapore Repertory Theatre’s cyber wellness campaign, HPick-A-Hero, a 7-part video series written and directed by Daniel Jenkins to combat cyberbullying.
- As a graduate of the Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Young Company, Nair was part of a talented cast that explored promenade theatre and took on a unique theatrical ‘tour,’ adapting to the changing performance landscape of the year.
